Walking in and around Loch Ness.
The Loch Ness area is a fantastic place for walking, and caters for all abilities from challenging hill walks and long distance hikes along the Great Glen way to well signposted and accessible walks suitable for the whole family. Glen Affric is a particular favourite of ours and is often described as one of the most beautiful Glens in Scotland so is well worth a visit. Glen Affric is a National Nature Reserve and reputed to be the most beautiful glen in Scotland. Or perhaps you may prefer to watch for golden eagles and red deer in the remote and rugged Glen Strathfarrar.
Walkhighlands is an excellent website giving detailed information on walks to suit all abilities and tastes throughout the Highlands & Islands.
